Alex Lamb was joined by City Light Partner Josh Cohen to discuss his journey to pursuing impact via venture capital investing and the unique intersection of several focus areas of their portfolio, including education technology and healthcare innovations. Alex and Josh also discussed how artificial intelligence is helping City Light build an innovative portfolio of investments in early stage companies.

Josh Cohen established City Light Capital and the organization’s experimental seed fund in 2004. Since then, City Light Capital has focused on impact-driven, early-stage companies with high financial potential, launching its second fund in 2008, third in 2015, and fourth in 2020. City Light Capital’s investment strategy seeks US-based investments within its defined investment themes.
